How is Paper Made?

This short book visualizes how paper is made through a visual metaphor that consists of painted plastic bottles as machines and torn paper pieces as paper pulp.

In order to imitate the transformation real logs undergo, I treated my "faux-logs" -- wooden texture printed on paper -- how real logs would be treated during the paper making process, which included ripping, soaking, bleaching and reassembling the paper pieces.
